A ninja and a cat burglar

Derry's 25th Halloween Festival was over the weekend.  It is one of the biggest, if not the biggest, in Europe.  It was too cold to wear the poodle girl outfit I wore a week ago, so instead I had to make due with what I could find in the house. In case you can't tell what I was supposed to be, I was a cat burglar. I basically drew on a cat face and put on all black.  Eh, it worked in a pinch.  Barry was a ninja.  That was hard work, lemme tell ya!  He karate-chopped every sign and lamp post from here to the parade and back (almost injuring himself on one).  Oh, and he also requested that we not use his name...to instead call him "ninja."

Me and "Ninja."
"Ninja" and the neighbor girls before we went to the parade.
The cat burglar (you can just call me Lesley) and the neighbor girls before the parade.

  1. Great Costumes!!! Love your blog! I miss Ireland soooo much and I only got to stay 6 weeks!

  2. Fab costumes! I love the whole Cat Burglar + Ninja theme...and by the way Lesley - Congratulations! I have yet to tell you that and I am so excited for you and the Mr....So, all the way from Texas, I just want to say {in my best Irish accent lol}

    May you always walk in sunshine.
    May you never want for more.
    May Irish angels rest their wings
    beside your nursery door.
    And for the proud parents:
    May God grant you
    a wee bit of heaven
    to cradle in your arms -
    a sweet bonny baby
    to hold close to your heart.....
